I do love to be spontaneous and Wednesday was a spontaneous day! "Shall we go to beach, yes why not" And so off we headed after lunch. Three kids along with my brother & his fiance! What a fab afternoon we had!
No wind, some great rock pools, perfect for the kids to swim in and even the water was relatively warmer than it usually is! My girls loved it, this is the first time my 5 year old has actually swam in the see and she was SO excited about it. She even ended up shivering as she was so cold but refused to get out saying; "I am freezing, but I love the water, it's weird" Kids, hey!
Lots of time was spent in the water, picking up shells and digging "the deepest hole anyone has ever dug" with their uncle, getting full of sand & playing footie. They also decided to bury themselves in the said holes once dug and then insisted on burying their uncle, who they then decided looked like a mermaid so also needed boobies. Too funny!
Ice creams and one coffee were had after all our fun and then we headed back home again!
